Giving Back to the Community

Our learners are afforded ample opportunity to develop self-esteem, responsibility and confidence. Community service is an integral part of LMS education, instilling in our learners a moral consciousness of striving to uplift and assist those in need. We undertake a host of outreach programmes such as our annually hosted mass iftaar for the orphans in our community, packaging and distributing Ramadaan hampers to the under privileged and other community driven projects such as Operation Winter Warm and Operation Hydrate. Our recent major outreach programme, a mammoth task, involved raising funds to open a library for the low socio-economic community of Fochville. With dedicated and committed educators and learners and the generosity of our community, we raised sufficient funds to hand over the Library Resource Centre to Reakona Primary School on the 26th of July 2018. We have done this in the hope that other schools will follow in our footsteps.
